Laugh Away SMA is an annual comedy show benefitting Stop SMA, a Mississippi-based charity that raises money for research and awareness for spinal muscular atrophy. SMA is a degenerative disease that causes the muscles to waste away and can eventually lead to death. The first annual Laugh Away SMA show was held in August 2010 and was a big success, raising thousands of dollars for research and awareness.
Laugh Away SMA needed a website that could be the go-to spot for event information. The design is a one-page website with assisted scrolling from the site's navigation bar. A clean usable design ensured that visitors could find the important information they were looking for and made it easy to buy tickets from Ticketmaster or contact event staff for support.
